5 Unforgettable US Vacations

This blog post was transcribed from our recent Youtube video: 5 Unforgettable US Destinations. To watch, click here!

Hey fellow travelers! Do you love to travel? Are you already planning your next vacation once you get out of your house, but like me, maybe you're a little concerned about international travel and borders? I totally get that.

My team and I LOVE to plan custom tailored vacations for friend-cations and family reunions for our clients! Today I just want to present to you five ideas for amazing experiential getaways that you can take without leaving US soil!

Stay with me till the end because I have a free resource I want to give you that will help you with your planning!

#1 THIS Summer!

A National Park Discovery Railway Tour with Amtrak Vacations.

The one I've been looking at looks fantastic. It starts in Denver and hits Rocky Mountain National Park, Arches National Park, even Grand Junction all the way to Yosemite on its way to San Francisco. This trek looks amazing. And frankly, a railway journey is the best of both worlds between road tripping but letting someone else drive because you still get to enjoy the beautiful scenery. And what a great idea for a romantic couples getaway, a fun family vacation or time away with your favorite friends! There are cabin choices of all different kinds and various types of other lodging available. This vacation is a PERFECT option for this summer.

#2 Looking Forward to Fall...

Did you know that Club Med has a resort all-inclusive here in the US?! I highly recommend Sandpiper Bay!

It's right near West Palm Beach, Florida and it has all of the things you would expect from Club Med. Tennis, golf, water sports, and this one also has a trapeze school! How fun would that be for the whole family?

I just recently took part in a webinar with Club Med and I was so impressed by the types of steps that they are taking to care for their guests during this current pandemic. This is a 200-acre property. Of course Club Med is a beautiful resort and they want their guests to be comfortable. Normally they would only have five guests per acre of this massive property. But during this season, their reduced capacity is down to three guests per acre. Think about the breathing room, and just the comfort you would have at a place like that during this time. That's where I want to be!

#3 Winter 2020

Trying to escape the cold? Easy...head west!

Intrepid, of my favorite suppliers, is offering an eight night tour and it only has 14 people maximum on this tour! How relieving that you wouldn’t be crammed onto a bus with 45 people. It goes from LA to San Francisco and stops in Venice. The Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree National Park, Yosemite and even has a little city time for you. This tour sounds FANTASTIC and I highly recommend it!

#4 Next Spring...Travel & Tour

Now Intrepid has another tour that I would highly recommend. But I think we should wait until next spring and you'll see why. This tour has only 13 people maximum on it. And it's for all of my history buffs out there! It starts in Boston. As you learn about the American Revolution on the Freedom Trail, it then takes you to New York City, where you get to experience the bright lights and so much to do in New York, of course! Enjoy a Philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia and end the tour in Washington DC with a moonlight tour of the city. It just sounds amazing!

And, in the Spring, there might even be a chance that you get to see the cherry blossoms in DC. Because of our current global predicament, I definitely recommend we wait on those big cities for now, but it would be great to look forward to it next Spring!

#5 Unforgettable Summer 2021

Alaska is the place to be! Intrepid partnered with Lonely Planet, and they have designed amazing eco tours that I know that you will LOVE!

You will visit Denali State Park. You also go on an Alaskan safari to see moose, caribou, wolves, Dall sheep and Grizzly bears all in their natural habitat! Kayaking in Valdez and canoeing in the Prince William Sound, seeing Humpback whales and sea otters. I can't think of anything more fun! Let's do it!

I could go on and on about US destinations. There are so many things to experience and to see and to do. GlobeSage Travel loves to customize trips based on what the client is looking for. So, if you need anything help with this, let us know! We have great arrangements with all of the suppliers. And we'd love to help.

So, as you're exploring ways to take that vacation you missed once we're all free to roam from home, I promised you a resource that might help with the planning...

Click here to take the Travel Personality Quiz. This quiz will help you hone in on your unique traveler personality! I found it helpful because it helps me to zero in on what I enjoy the most when I travel.

Please give us your feedback. What resources would be helpful to you? Are there things you're wanting to know about travel right now? We'd love to hear from you. We love your feedback.

We hope to see you on the trail!
